  7. Please remember that tennis is a social and competitive game. The main goal is to learn and have fun in a balanced way.
  8. These Lesson Camps are designed for Recreational tennis players.

For Parents:

The main "to do" points for the Junior Lessons:

  1. Juniors should have running shoes providing good support
  2. They should wear clothing appropriate for weather (hats? Sunscreen?)
  3. Rackets of various sizes are available to use at the sessions, but if your junior becomes a regular player, it would be best to get them their own, properly fitted, racket.
  4. All other equipment and balls are provided by the club
  5. Please be punctual in pickup of young juniors after their program - 10:45 am for J1 and 12:15 pm for J2

These sessions are designed to teach tennis fundamentals: grip, forehand and backhand strokes, serving, the rules of the game etc. The Drop-In sessions (Juniors - St. Albert Tennis Club (stalberttennis.club) are a great way to practice and reinforce the fundamentals taught in the Camps. Our goal is to help kids find the fun in tennis and build skills that can last a lifetime.
