The St. Albert Tennis Club strives to provide an environment for individuals and families to enjoy

the lifelong sport of tennis as part of a friendly, welcoming community, in a well-maintained setting.

 

What we offer

  • Four lit courts open mid-April to late October
  • Clubhouse with kitchen, washrooms, t.v. lounge and meeting area
  • Courts, grounds and clubhouse fully maintained by club volunteers
  • Programs, Lessons, and Scheduled sessions for various ages and skill levels (if Covid is under control)
  • Central location surrounded by trees
  • Ample parking
  • A web cam to view the courts on our Internet site

 

Membership Fees for “2021 – the Covid-19 Saga continues”:

  • Adult - $105 per person; Early Bird discount (before May10) - $94.50
  • Family- $210 per household Adult & Junior Members; Early Bird discount (before May10) - $189.00

The club cannot promise any organized play or social activity at this time. The club can just offer well maintained courts with play protocol dictated by Covid-19 restrictions. Please carefully read the protocols at the courts and on this Webpage.

These fees will help us stay financially viable until we can get back to relatively normal play. There are no refunds related to Covid-19 restrictions and specific program cancellations;but the Board will, at the end of the season, consider if the Club can afford to provide a credit toward next year’s membership.

New Platform for Member and Public Registration

This is St. Albert Tennis Club’s second year with a registration platform (RacquetClubSoft by Jegysoft). The program automates recordkeeping and simplifies user interactions once initial information is entered.  All information is stored securely by Jegysoft. Payments are made through the secure PayPal site (which also includes: Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, options).

Registration information is required from all individuals who use club facilities, either as “Members” or “Non-Members” (Public).

The link to “RaquetClubSoft” is provided above and below.  Previous adult members of the club will be sent an email with a “renewal link”. We suggest using a computer for the initial data input for your household.  All registration and payment functions can also be accessed on your smartphone.

There are two options for Registration which are presented on the front page of the platform:

  1. Member Registration
  2. Public Program Registration

Both require a Primary Account Holder as the first registrant from his/her household, who:

  1. Must be an adult and be financially responsible for the account.
  2. Must be the Parent/Guardian if Juniors are registering (for membership or public access) from the household.
  3. Must provide an “email address” and “password” which identify the household account and allow access to the platform functions.
  4. After the household registration is completed, the Primary Account Holder can register other household members who desire to use club facilities under this account. 

Public Programs Registration” There is no charge for registration. Fees are only charged when the user registers for specific public programs. Only members of a household can register under a Public Program Primary Account Holder.

“Membership Registration” When registering you will be given a choice, “Adults” or “Family.”

Adult Membership” Criteria:

  1. Registering Primary Account Holder as Adult Club Member 
  2. May register other household adults for Club Membership
  3. May register household adults or juniors for Public Program access (although free, this will not be useful until Covid-19 restrictions allow reasonably safe Public Group programming)

 “Family Membership" Criteria 

  1. Must include at least 3 individual members of a Household
  2. Must be 1 or 2 adult members
  3. Must be 1 to 4 junior members
  4. Junior membership is only available through a “Family Membership”. Junior membership automatically includes participation in the “Spring Junior Drop-in Program” and the “Summer Junior Drop-in Program”, when available. The Spring program is cancelled for 2021 and the status of the Summer Program will be decided by June 15th at the latest.

The Family Membership was originally designed to reduce the cost to parents who wanted their children to participate in the club's highly successful Junior Drop-in Program. As the program may not run this summer, the only benefit of Junior membership, this year, might be that juniors can play with parent/guardian supervision. The best Junior use of Club allocated time is Monday to Friday, between 1:00pm and 3:00pm, (since that is the normal time for the Junior Drop-in Programs).
